Fountain Creek Estates

Fountain Creek Estates is an upper end subdivision in Sherwood Park. This is the most established of the Group’s projects and features large 277 Executive style fully serviced residential lots with 86’ frontages. A beautiful view of the City of Edmonton skyline is visible from several locations within the subdivision.

This project was developed in two phases. Phase 1 contained 139 all walkout lots. All these lots back on to a manmade creek system that was a unique feature at the time in the whole of Canada. The contours of the area which allowed a 35-foot drop at the west entrance of the project helped this concept along. A lake was designed which exists at the northwest corner of the subdivision. A circulation system was put in place by which water is circulated from the lake to the entrance of the subdivision and then flows back through the manmade creek system and back to the lake. It was a unique and bold concept that today is appreciated.

Phase 2 contained 138 lots. Many lots in this phase are walkout. This phase is different from Phase 1 as it contains a storm water lake in the center of the subdivision. The topography in this phase did not allow for all the lots to be walkout but all lots are still very desirable. Most of the lots in this phase were sold out by 2006.
